Online viewing pre-opening event

Last Saturday we hosted the pre-opening of Root’s new gallery space where we presented the works of Saïd Kinos, Donald Schenkel, Karen van de Vliet, Lisette Schumacher, Quinda Verheul, Sophie de Vos, Jochem Esser and Vera Klaus. We were happy to share and talk about our vision and ambitions for the future, and to be able to present a large selection of works again! Many visitors have followed Root’s journey from the very beginning and we thank you for your ongoing support and enthusiasm. We are excited to continue building onto our ambitions, and cannot wait to share more milestones with you. 

Though the current location is still a work in progress, it allows for many new possibilities both for the artists and visitors. We aim to create a space in which artists can really thrive, with one floor that functions as the exhibition space focussed on showcasing new developments in the artist’s practice. Here, there will be special programming with both solo and group presentations. The ground floor - which is now open to the public - will function as a presentation/stock space where visitors are able to view works by all of our represented artists all year long. If you wish to make an appointment to view one, or more artworks of your interest please contact contact@root.gallery
