Upcoming art fairs - Art The Hague & BigArt

After a successful edition of the KunstRAI in Amsterdam with works by Lisette Schumacher, Sophie de Vos, Jan Kuhlemeier and Donald Schenkel you can also visit Root Gallery at art fairs Art The Hague from the 29th of September until the 3rd of October and BigArt from the 30th of September until the 3rd of October. A joyful way to spend your day, surrounded by mesmerizing artworks and art enthusiasts.

During Art the Hague we will present works by artists Jan Kuhlemeier, Quinda Verheul, Saïd Kinos and Lisette Schumacher.

Art The Hague 2021 presents a large variety of work by both international and young artists who recently left the academy. This way the selection gives room to fresh artistic approaches and new talents. The art fair has selected no less than 46 Dutch and Belgian galleries for contemporary art, consisting of both renowned contemporary art galleries as well as young ones like Root Gallery. A free entrance ticket can be booked with the code ROOTATH2021. Tickets can be booked via the website!

BigArt, Zaandam (NL)

After the wonderful solo exhibition 'Moving' earlier this year, Freerk Wilbers has been working on a new, even larger, work which will be presented at the 2021 edition of BigArt. Fellow artist Saïd Kinos has been working on a 70 cm high x 350 cm wide canvas that captures his unique aesthetic in a wonderful way. It is bound to be special! Big Art is a pop-up platform for XL art installations and huge design objects, brought to you by a blend of established artists and designers as well as upcoming talents. Every autumn Big Art occupies an iconic building in or around Amsterdam where dozens of artists and designers fill the place with a unique mix of monumental paintings, oversized drawings, large sculptures, big photos and installations.
