Online viewing In Daylight During Nighttime

Until the 25th of July we present the duo exhibition In Daylight During Nighttime by Sophie de Vos and Philine van den Hul in the gallery. Due to the corona-virus, the gallery is open from Thursday until Saturday from 12:00 until 17:00 and by appointment.

Philine van den Hul and Sophie de Vos present their photographic works together in the gallery for the first time. Capturing a poetic suggestion, space for absence and the use of the body as a visualization instrument connects the work of these two artists. Where Sophie sees beauty in imperfections, Philine is in search of romance in places nobody else will look. The bodies of work complement each other in such a way that a new narrative comes into existence on an emotional level. Almost like poetry; storytelling and rhythmical. Sometimes elusive but always intriguing.
